Safeguarding

TTMT holds reflective spaces with clear boundaries. This page explains crisis signposting, when we escalate, and what we cannot provide.

Need help?

If reflection feels too heavy, use the right support for where you are right now. TTMT is not a crisis service and cannot respond to urgent messages through this site.

Immediate crisis

  • Call 999

If you or someone else is at immediate risk. Ask for an ambulance or the police.

  • Go to A&E

Tell the desk you are having a mental health emergency.

  • NHS 111 (mental health option)

Call 111 and select the mental health option (option 2 where offered). Connects to 24/7 local mental health crisis support in England, or visit 111.nhs.uk.

Urgent support

  • Samaritans — 116 123

Free, 24/7, UK and ROI. Anonymous phone line for anyone who needs to talk.

  • Text SHOUT to 85258

Confidential text support if you do not feel like speaking out loud.

  • CALM — 0800 58 58 58

    5pm–midnight daily, UK, ages 18+. Visit thecalmzone.net.

Ongoing support

  • Your GP

Book an appointment. Be direct: "I'm struggling with my mental health and I need help."

  • NHS Talking Therapies

Self-refer for free talking therapies (such as CBT) without a GP at nhs.uk/talk (England).

  • Hub of Hope

hubofhope.co.uk — find local support services by postcode.

  • Mind

mind.org.uk for information and local services.

The contact form and general inbox are not monitored for crisis support. For immediate risk, use the options above.

Our boundary

TTMT workshops, prompts, and conversation spaces are not therapy, clinical intervention, diagnosis, or crisis care.

Facilitators hold process and language. If someone needs specialist or emergency support, we signpost out rather than pretending to hold what we cannot safely hold.

In TTMT spaces, what you share stays in the room unless someone is at risk or there is a safeguarding concern. We do not promise secrecy where safety requires action.

When TTMT escalates

When a live session is running, the hosts stay calm, do not promise confidentiality where safety is at stake, and focus on getting the person to appropriate support.

  • Someone expresses immediate risk to themselves or others.
  • A safeguarding concern (abuse, neglect, or a child or vulnerable adult at risk).
  • Someone is in acute distress and needs more than signposting in the moment.
  • A disclosure that may require reporting under UK safeguarding or legal duties.

Who holds safeguarding

Safeguarding for TTMT spaces rests with the founders and hosts, Craig and Simon. There is no separate safeguarding inbox, and this page does not promise a response time.

Use the contact form for non-urgent questions about TTMT boundaries. For immediate risk, use the crisis options above.

On this website

Boundary copy appears on the workbook, daily prompts, offers, and contact routes so expectations stay clear wherever reflection happens.

The contact form is not monitored for crisis support. For what TTMT is and is not in everyday language, see What TTMT is (and is not).
